Activision Confirms Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Releasing November 10

The official release date for the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, has been officially verified by Activision. Following an extended period of leaks and conjecture that left fans eagerly seeking authentic information, their patience has finally been rewarded.

Activision has formally revealed the upcoming addition to the Call of Duty franchise, solidifying a release date of November 10 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

In 2022, Modern Warfare II achieved a remarkable feat, amassing a staggering $1 billion in revenue within a mere 10 days – a record-breaking accomplishment for the franchise. As the highly anticipated new installment approaches, it certainly has substantial expectations to live up to. Interestingly, all Call of Duty games are now constructed on a shared engine, irrespective of the leading development studio. This suggests that fans can anticipate a certain level of familiarity between Modern Warfare III, Modern Warfare II, and Warzone.

Publisher Activision has revealed a concise teaser, incorporating an abstract mosaic of recognizable characters from the franchise: Captain Price and Vladimir Makarov. Accompanied by the phrase, “Never bury your enemies alive,” the teaser provides an intriguing glimpse into the game’s tone. Additionally, the teaser alludes to “heads of snakes,” potentially referencing the ultranationalist Russian character Makarov, who served as the primary antagonist in the original MW3 (2011). Leading the development of the sequel is Sledgehammer Games. This title is a component of the trilogy of Modern Warfare soft reboots that commenced in 2019.

Reportedly according to Insider-Gaming, early access for the campaign of Modern Warfare III is slated to commence on November 2. Additionally, beta weekends have been scheduled for October 6-10 (PlayStation) and October 12-16 (all platforms), providing players with an opportunity to engage with the game before its official release.

Reports suggest that the unveiling of Modern Warfare III will occur within the Warzone game environment on Thursday, August 17. This means that the wait for more information about the new title and its features for COD 2023 won’t be prolonged.

As anticipation builds for the upcoming Call of Duty release, it is expected that a significant surge of content, leaks, and official declarations will emerge over the following weeks.
